Meg Ryan is sharing why she stepped away from Hollywood for nearly a decade, and how doing so refueled her creative juices while allowing her to value the things that matter most to her. The queen of rom-coms is back following an eight-year hiatus with What Happens Later, a rom-com she co-wrote, directed and stars in opposite David Duchovny. It's her first rom-com since 2009's Serious Moonlight, though she last appeared in 2015's Ithaca, the war drama in which she made her directorial debut and starred alongside Tom Hanks, Sam Shepard and her son, Jack Quaid.

Melinda Dillon, the actress who warned Ralphie that he’d shoot his eye out as the mom in A Christmas Story, died on January 9 at age 83. She was also known for her Oscar-nominated supporting performances in Steven Spielberg’s 1977 movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Sydney Pollack’s 1981 film Absence of Malice. No cause was provided in an obituary announcing the news of her death.

The 2003 NBA Draft Class gave birth to a list of talented stars. These young stars entered the NBA and proved their talent at the biggest stage. While LeBron James and Dwyane Wade highlight the 2003 draft list, the talent of Carmelo Anthony cannot be overlooked.  The Denver Nuggets picked up Melo with the third pick in the 2003 Draft. He came from Syracuse University, where he helped his college basketball team win their first NCAA championship.

Back in May of 2022, YSL Polo was indicted as part of the YSL RICO case. Now, prosecutor Adriane Love has revealed that his charges have been dropped. The rapper was found guilty of murdering Xavier Arlandor Turner in 2020 recently, and has since displayed some unusual behavior. “In the interest of judicial economy and efficiency," they'll be moving forward without him. A clip of YSL Polo acting out of character recently went viral, causing Young Thug's attorney to take action.

Pat Houston -- Whitney's longtime manager and sister-in-law -- tells TMZ through a rep ... "The Whitney Houston Estate is disappointed in the joke, and felt it was in poor taste." Pat is the sole executor of the estate, BTW ... so she controls all things Whitney-related.
