Paolo Nutini iTunes Review 2014 - Who is Rae Morris, his support?

On Saturday night, we ditched London Fashion Week shenanigans to visit The Roundhouse in Camden to watch Paolo Nutini perform at the iTunes Festival. His support, Blackpool-born Rae Morris, was a great find (we hadn't seen her perform live before) and a sure fire sign that the night was going to be brilliant.

We loved every single second of Paolo's live-streamed set, but here are a few highlights…

The Chat

LOL. What chat? Paolo Nutini isn't known for being a Chatty Cathy on stage - and what he did manage, we couldn't understand anyway. And no, it wasn't because he was Scottish, he was just quite quiet and it was tricky to hear over the screaming girls. It doesn't matter - we weren't there to watch him talk.

The Choons

Paolo Nutini's voice is SO good, and when he loves a song, you can just tell. He performed loads of his hits, and we're pretty sure he went over his allocated time slot, his encore went on forever - not that we were complaining! Highlights include Iron Sky, Candy, One Day, Last Request and a new jazzy version of New Shoes which he incorporated well with Jenny Don't Be Hasty.

The Sexiness

Sorry, we have to mention Paolo Nutini's sexiness. Yes, we know he's a reluctant heartthrob and he wants to be known for the music and not his looks, but dammmnnn, he sure is hawt! Even when he's wearing an awful brown leather jacket.

The Moves

Who knew Paolo Nutini was such a slick mover. During some of the songs he was dancing like he didn't have a care in the world.

Anything else?

It's worth noting that the videos which played in the background, and the lighting, created an excellent look to his show. The whole show was slick, and Paolo's voice was even better in person than on his albums. We can't wait to go and watch him again.

See who else is playing HERE.
