Powderham Food Festival 2015 will be bigger and better than ever before - Devon's premier food festival in the most beautiful of settings at Powderham Castle, near Exeter.
Set beautifully on the Exe Estuary the Powderham Estate provides a wonderful location - from its deer park comes finest venison, woods provide wild mushrooms and from the river excellent seafood and fish.
This year two days of most interesting, most delicious West Country food stalls will reflect the very best of our regions abundance. Back by popular demand comes our "Theatre of Fire 'n Smoke". Our chefs will be demonstrating their skills cooking over fire pits, BBQs, smokers and wood fired oven using fish from the Exe Estuary, venison from Powderham's own deer park, finest locally produced meats and yes vegetables too. BBQ food at its tastiest available to buy and enjoy too. You can also try the Chilli Challenge too!
